OFF SITE ART

The city of L’Aquila is an urban territory in constant evolution. Caught between the loss of what has been and the creative push of the future, today it’s the biggest construction site in Europe, rebuilding after the 2009 earthquake.

Off Site Art (OSA) is born from the desire to create within the city a meeting point for different arts, languages, cultures and nationalities. From 2014 OSA organizes in public and non-conventional areas many events, call for arts, expositions of emerging artists, supervising every step from the initial project to the  creation.Partnering with ArtBridge, a non-profit organization based in New York, it is active in the long term project Off Site Art/ArtBridge per L’Aquila that transforms the scaffolding in the city’s historical center into an enormous en plein air art gallery.
