Alberto Santos Dumond was the father of flying machines. He was Brasilian but he found in Paris a place called home. He was a revolutionary man, he had visions: on October 1901 he flew around the Eiffel Tower winning the Deutsch de la Meurthe prize.
In 1904 Louis Cartier designed the first wristlwatch for his friend Alberto who complained about the difficulty of checking his pocket watch during the flights: Santos Dumont watch was born here.
