Immersive art installation presented at the The Second OPENFILE Festival of Contemporary Visual Culture produced by V-Collective sponsored by IIC Shanghai

With contributions from 36 international and Chinese artists across multiple disciplines, OPENFILE presents a wide-ranging selection of creative expressions. Spanning from original paintings and sculptures to cutting-edge digital works and AI-generated content, the exhibition is divided into five distinct thematic zones—Shine, Shimmer, Dazzle, Thrill, and Wonder—across a 2,000-square-meter space.

“Believe” is an immersive art installation depicting a diorama of a forest with a young girl and several fireflies. At the very beginning the room is dark but after a certain time we can see a light coming from the background and many fireflies turning on morphing the atmosphere into a magical environment.
The concept behind the installation aims to convey the many dreams and possibilities we all have, the people we love, the expectations of the future.
The artwork wants to emphasize the believe that marvel is all around us even if we are not always able to see it.
